Welcome! To register as a new patient, you can call our office at (562) 864-4000 or visit us in person. We'll need your child's basic information, insurance details, and medical history. You can also download our new patient registration forms from the Patient Forms section below to complete them before your first visit. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment to allow time for paperwork.
We accept most major insurance plans including Medi-Cal, Blue Shield, Anthem, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and many others. Please contact our office at (562) 864-4000 to verify that we accept your specific plan. We also offer self-pay options for families without insurance. Payment plans may be available for qualifying families.
You can schedule an appointment by calling our office at (562) 864-4000 during business hours (Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM). For sick visits, we offer same-day appointments and walk-in hours (8:30–9:00 AM and 2:30–3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday).
For after-hours emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For non-emergency medical questions after hours, you can call our main number (562) 864-4000 and follow the prompts to reach our after-hours answering service. A nurse or on-call provider will return your call. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911 immediately.
We follow the vaccination schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Key milestones include vaccines at birth, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 15 months, and 4-6 years, with annual flu vaccines starting at 6 months. We are happy to discuss the vaccination schedule with you at your child's well visit and address any questions or concerns you may have about immunizations.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends well-child visits at the following ages: newborn (3-5 days), 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, and then annually from age 3 through 18. These visits are essential for tracking your child's growth, development, and ensuring they stay up to date on vaccinations and screenings.
Yes! We offer same-day sick appointments Monday through Thursday. We also have walk-in hours from 8:30–9:00 AM and 2:30–3:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) for urgent sick visits. Please note that walk-ins are not available on Fridays. For same-day appointments, please call as early as possible in the day so we can accommodate your child.
